Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
French term or phrase: PART. GEST CPT
This abbreviation appears on a personal bank account statement with other transactions such as cheques, bank transfers, commission charges, etc.

Could "GEST" stand for "gestion" and "CPT" for "compte"? I am not sure about PART.

Any ideas much appreciated!

English translation:Account management fee
Explanation:
As Ukyuu suggested, this almost certainly stands for "participation gestion compte", for which an appropriate translation is "account management fee".

Participation gestion compte

Explanation:
My husband sister who's accountant said it was most probably for "participation". It can be something related to the bank account, some kind of charge for taking care of the account in the bank, to be sure check the other occurence and see if it's four times a year or one time a year. If it is, then it's probably that.
