French to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
French term or phrase:chargé de clientèle sans caisse
I'd be most grateful if anyone could help with this - it refers to a job title in a bank which involves dealing with customers and selling products and services. It sounds a bit like what we might call a Personal Advisor in banks in England, but the bank also has "chargé de clientèle avec caisse" so I'm not sure how I'd translate the "sans caisse" bit.
Here is the context, it's from a training guide for new employees:
"Savoir conduire un entretien de vente avec un client du fonds de commerce ATS
Auprès d’un Chargé de Clientèle sans caisse
- être capable de découvrir les attentes et besoins du client
- être capable de proposer l’offre commerciale adaptée
- savoir argumenter en mettant en avant les bénéfices client
- savoir enrichir le dossier client des informations collectées"
I like the sound of this, "off-counter" is a nice concise way to put it. Thank you.

customer adviser (off-counter)
Explanation: You're right that a "chargé de clientèle" is a customer adviser, personal banker or whatever. I'm pretty sure the "sans caisse" bit means they don't work on the counter, as opposed to the "avec caisse" ones, who are customer advisers but also provide counter services (paying in cheques and cash, etc.).
