French term or phrase: tranche
This term is found in an underwriting agreement, I know the same term does exist in finance in English, but I'm not sure if I should use it here. I can't give a great deal of context as the document is confidential.

'XXX s'engage a emettre d'une part...et d'autre part...en quatre tranches distinctes...'-I hope you manage to glean something from that!
