French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
French term or phrase: document d'information
This is found in a powerpoint presentation on banking products.

It is part of a bullet point list on the advantages of a certain banking product which allows you to organize transfers, standing orders etc.

This part of the bullet point list says: Possbilité de commander des documents d'information

I looked up several translations and found one in the Kudoz glossaries, but I wasn't satisfied...the translations were: background paper and disclosure document. I don't really understand the source text phrase, neither do I know what it should be in English.

Sorry I don't have more context, any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

English translation:information document
Explanation:
Yep. As in Key Investor Information Document (KIID), required by the latest evolution of the EU Prospectus directive.

You can describe it as a disclosure document, but you may as well stick with the literal translation to name it (whether it's a KIID or merely similar). The term is going to become extremely common.
