Explanation:
Could it be a typo for "boîtiers" ? That would make sense in the context, as the shareholders present would be using their voting pads to vote...

"Between 8 a.m. and 8.45 a.m. at the place and date of the General Meeting, the shareholder or proxy (together with proof of their authorisation) along with proof of their identity, may claim their voting pad or machine entitling that person to participate and vote at the General Meeting, by signing the attendance sheet."

"Voting Pads and Assessment
At the end of the lessons the children were taken to the hall where they took part in a ‘Weakest Link’ style test. They used a voting pad, which allowed them to answer questions displayed in a PowerPoint presentation. Once they had all answered a question, the answer flashed onto the screen, along with a breakdown of the number of students with the correct / incorrect answer. The children loved the anonymous nature of this method of testing. It was also easy to see that all children answered questions, as the presentation keeps a running total of the number of responses.

The voting pads also used SIM cards to record the name of each student holding a voting pad. The test results were calculated for each individual child and stored in an Access database ready for use in Year 7."
