free variable 2 Explanation: When I saw the question in the list, I thought "that should be an IT question, surely, because it means variable libre 2". And I see that Mr Sirett agrees with this point of view. I further agree with him that it seems likely that it will be used to hold a value for the currency. That said, it seems slightly odd to charge 30.00 of whatever the local unit of currency is, wherever in world it may be (think Turkey before revaluation recently) so perhaps not... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr 13 mins (2005-02-17 11:38:23 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- As for \"translating\" it - I don\'t bother - it\'s a variable name in an IT system. |
