agree xxxdf49f: or recreational shellfish harvesting - & agree that personal research would be in order particularly when translating from non-native source into non-native target languages

neutral Graham macLachlan: in my experience, "pêche à pied" is not restricted to shellfish, it also includes anything you may find trapped in the rocks or hiding in the sand: flatfish, dogfish, etc.
