Dairy Premium and Additional Payment

Explanation:
This is the equivalent of the ADL in the UK. I don't know whether European sites translate Aide Directe Laitière literally, but the English title of the subsidy is "Dairy Premium and Additional Payment" - it is DESCRIBED as a "direct dairy payment ", but that is not its official name.

Our farm was eligible for the "Aide Directe Laitière" and the aid described in the following site is the exact same thing. (I fill up the forms in our house!)

http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Agriculture/Agricultural-P...

See also http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Agriculture/grants/Schemes...

"On what basis was the Dairy Premium and the Additional Payment paid?
The Dairy Premium was paid to milk producers based on net quota held on 31 March 2004 i.e. quota that was available on the holding on that date. This included:

owned quota, excluding that which had been leased out
any quota that had been leased in ·
any quota which had been bought as clean
Any quota that was bought as used counted towards the seller's entitlement. The Additional Payment was paid on the same basis as the Dairy Premium.

What were the payment rates for 2004?
The rates of the Dairy Premium element and the amount available for Additional Payment are set out in EU Regulation 1782/2003. Both payments were subject to modulation at 3.5%. The final figure paid to farmers for 2004 was 0.78 pence per litre."

"The Dairy Premium and Additional Dairy Payment form part of a package of measures introduced as part of the CAP Reform measures agreed by Agriculture Ministers in 2003. One of these elements was the introduction of direct payments for milk producers in the form of a Dairy Premium and Additional Dairy Payment phased in over three years from 2004. "

disagree hirselina: This would be "prime aux produits laitiers" and "paiements supplémentaires" art. 95 Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003

-> Do these exist in France? As a dairy farmer, I should know about them... I think a lot of EU documents are translated from one language to another. My answer is not a translation - it is the UK equivalent of the ADL in France. Three years, based on quotas
