Short descriptions of the properties of various fruits and ingredients. This section is about Wheatgrass.

WHEATGRASS

.... is naturally rich in vitamins, proteins and minerals... Il est souvent consommé en cure, pour ses vertus thérapeutiques.

I am specifically having trouble with the "en cure" part. I hesitate to use treatment here because that sounds a little to "medical" to me for this marketing text. Any ideas?

I would paraphrase the whole sentence. The phrase "en cure" adds nothing to the meaning here. And trying to lever it in is going to leave you with a very un-English sentence.

agree  Mark Nathan: It means that you take something for a certain period (from a few days to several months depending on your condition and how long it takes for the product to cure you) as opposed to simply taking it every day, like a vitamin pill.

as part of a detox program


Explanation:
I suspect this what they mean: agree with piazza/Mark, the idea is that it is not an everyday thing but part of a special dietary program, which in alternative health circles is generally referred to as a "detox".
