Hello everybody! please, help me to translate this:

Aspèrge:

Vivace herbacée de la famille des liliacées, l'asperge se cultive pour ses tendres pousses de début de printemps. Fortement diurétique, l'asperge facilité la digestion. Boire l'eau du jus d'asperge (celle de la cuisson à la vapeur) pour combattre l'arthrite et les rhumatismes et un excellent aliment anti-inflammatoire.

Explanation:
Asparagus is harvested in spring rather than planted in spring - it is planted in winter (Jan/Feb) - so given the rest of the paragraph possibly switch 'grown' to 'harvested', but I felt 'grown' better represented what the text actually said.

My father-in-common-law grows asparagus, so I've learned what I know from him.
