early hours Explanation: De l'ombre ne heures may mean a shadow in the early hours of the day.May be that the hotel is facing east-west when there will be a sunny blaze,which is countered by the greenery around. Just a thought, Helen! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 hrs (2007-02-11 02:56:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Normally, in hot countries or in places like India, where it is very hot during summers, the hotel building will be surrounded by huge trees which provide shade during all the hours of the day. we could also translate as "the cool rooms,nestling in the shade", perhaps to say that the rooms are cool through out the day even without AC! |
