"Une nouvelle branche de tramway sera mise en place pour desservir le Parc de Calleau, Jugny et la ZAC".

Lara, BD and Agnes think "branch" not necessary but not sure I agree as a new "line" and new "branch" (of the line) are not the same in my humble opinion. But I'm open to being persuaded otherwise!
