French term or phrase: En vous remerciant d’avance des suites que vous accorderez à la présente
Hello. This is a covering letter that goes with a tender application for construction works. CONTEXT:

"En vous remerciant d’avance des suites que vous accorderez à la présente,"

I've thought of translating it as "I thank you in advance for your answer to this question", but I'm not sure whether "suites" refers only to an answer or also to the actions the recipient will take upon receiving the letter.

Is it just the answer or also the actions? TIA!

You imply that the letter is asking a question, in which case this would be an appropriate translation. If it's not, and it just says "we enclose a tender application", I would be inclined to leave it out.
What do you mean by a tender application, by the way - a bid, or an invitation to tender?
