French to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Geography | | French term or phrase: centre de vie | | In discussion of road planning, describes links between industrial areas and "centres de vie". I'm guessing the sense is "commercial and residential areas" or "non-industrial built-up areas", and I wondered about simply "built-up areas". Does anyone have any better suggestions? Thanks! |
