French to English translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Geography / Geography of religion
French term or phrase: Problèmes d'ensemble
This is a sub-heading in the table of contents of a book on the Geography of religion. The title of the chapter is "Religions et idéologies dans le monde actuel". The sub-heading in question is the second of three in the "Appendix" to the chapter. The other two sub-headings are: 1. "Les problèmes religieux du monde contemporain" and 3. "Etudes comparatives et études régionales". Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Margaret

Yes, "issue" works also; it depends on what "problèmes" means in the source text.

Asker: Thank you. This was my initial translation but I wonder if it can be improved upon. I came up with "questions" or "issues" as alternatives to "problems".

Asker: Hmm Good thought. It might just work, thanks. I'll take another look. By the way, happy Thanksgiving - my son will be celebrating it in Vancouver this weekend.
