It is located 86 km from Ankara at 975 meters above sea level. The water (37-47 C) contains sodium, calcium magnesium, bicarbonate and chlorine. It's good for drinking and bathing benefiting the treatment of rheumatism, neuralgia, gynecologic and digestive disorders.
Composition of mineral water sources
Stănescu Spring: output of 405 l / h, T 7 °C, pH 6.2; naturally carbonated, with bicarbonate, sodium, calcium, magnesium;
Apor Spring: output of 7200 l / h, T 7 °C, pH 5.3; hypotonic, naturally carbonated, ferruginous, with chlorine, bicarbonate, sodium, calcium;
Mikes Spring: free output, T 14 °C, pH 5.6; hypotonic, naturally carbonated, mildly ferruginous, with chlorine, bicarbonate, sodium.
Although I would not pretend to having more than a very basic knowledge of chemistry, calcic - magnesic makes no sense to me. On the other hand, bicarbonates of calcium and magnesium do make sense. I have never heard of a chloro-bicarbonate, though fringe medicine and pharmacology (presumably including thermal spas) do have a tendency to make up impressive sounding names. Maybe the "chloro" just means there are a few chloride ions floating around in the solution...
