Social Sciences - Human Resources / Problem employees
French term or phrase: alternance
HR manual on problem employees (still!) In a section on communication blocks there's a list of do's and don'ts. Under the heading "Manque d'écoute et de sensibilité": "manipuler, flatter, menacer, ***ne pas avoir d’alternance**, faire des monologues".

Does this mean "being rigid" or perhaps "always being the same" or something similar? TIA
