Human Resources / Declaration of social security data
French term or phrase: heures supplémentaires et complémentaires
Can you define a difference between "heures supplémentaires" and "heures complémentaires" and suggest English equivalents, or should I just say "overtime"?

Yes. Also, the way I read it, the main difference between them would seem to be that HC is what we would call 'overtime' on a normal full-time contract, whereas HS are extra hours that are worked by someone who has a part-time job and chooses to do the extra hours that may add up to a full day.

Asker: Thanks Lisa. It appears from this link that HC are paid at the normal rate whereas HS are paid at 25% or 50% above.
