I'm unsure about 'évaluation prévisionnelle des dommages' in this paragraph:

Le présent rapport propose une évaluation prévisionnelle des dommages ajustée en fonction des derniers éléments qui nous ont été communiqués par l’intermédiaire du *****, Expert d’assuré.

Does this refer to an estimated cost of damages? Could it simply be 'provisional valuation'?
