atche84: 3:05am Apr 29, 2008: 1 g de contexte = 100 g d'explications et suppositions
Charles Hawtrey: 9:40am Apr 29, 2008: What sort of information system? Company documents server? Remote backup high capacity RAID drive? Satellite? Submarine? Give us an idea of what is being bid for or else the answer could be totally wrong.
Eutychus: 9:49am Apr 29, 2008: I'm not totally certain, but I think "embedded applications" covers the "on-board" sense, but not vice versa - which is why I made this suggestion.
Charles Hawtrey: 10:03pm Apr 29, 2008: To take a specific case, I'm not sure computing glide slope is an 'embedded application' - but you certainly don't find that in an office IT system.
