Good day all. I'm working on a document about risk-management-related data streams for a large French bank and although I understand the bank's structure I admit I am flailing a bit when it comes to the use of "maille." I'll provide as much context as I think will be useful here:

"Besoins de pilotage du risque de crédit :

"Sur le non retail (clients corporate, souverains et institions financières) , la principale évolution concerne le passage généralisé en quotidien.
"Le périmètre cible de pilotage du risque de crédit des portefeuilles retail est plus complet que le périmètre actuellement traité par la chaîne Bâle 2 et devra a minima couvrir l’ensemble des entités prioritaires.

"Outre la maille plus fine (contrat) et la fréquence accélérée déjà mentionnées, le degré d'exigence en matière de données de pilotage s'accroît sur deux axes principaux :

"Un pilotage plus large que le seul suivi de l'encours (tout le cycle de vie du produit de l’octroi au recouvrement),
Une profondeur historique plus importante (pour analyse de générations et les simulations) : idéalement de 10 ans à 25 ans (cas des prêts immobiliers)"
