neutral  Kiwiland Bear: I'm of two minds about this: "display" does sound better but... it is represented as a scrolling banner, isn't it?

  -> I don't know if "scrolling banner" is used somehow, if so, could you give references? The term "display" is very often used in electronics & computer technologies fields so I'm still betting on my answer.
