Someone talking about two promotions he just got at the newspaper he works for.

Contexte:

"Je suis nommé rédacteur en chef de l'éditon électronique du journal ET **rédacteur en chef adjoint de la rédaction."

It seems very redundant and confusing to me.

WILLIAM SKUDLAREK is Secretary General of DIMMID. He is a monk of Saint John's Abbey, Collegeville, Minnesota, and currently in residence at the Badia Primaziale di Sant'Anselmo in Rome. Prior to assuming his present postiion he was President and then Executive Director of the North American commission for Monastic Interreligious Dialogue. He has written, edited, and translated books on interreligious dialogue. He holds a doctorate in Homiletics and Liturgics from Princeton Theological Seminary. From 1994-2001 he was a member of the priory of Saint John's Abbey in Japan and there began practicing zazen with the Sanbō Kyōdan in Kamakura.
