Hi every one,

I'm getting a bit confused with a document I'm translating and was wondering if any one can help. The doc is a "pacte d'associés" which I have translated as a "shareholders' agreement"...and the parties therein are associés which I have translated as "shareholders" (instead of partners as I translated the title as shareholders' agreement and not partnership agreement). My problem is that I have now come across the following sentence:
Dans le cas où, à l’issue de la modification du capital envisagée, les actionnaires actuels de l’Associé 1 demeureraient propriétaires de la majorité du capital de l’Associé 1, les associés du Comité Consultatif bénéficieront individuellement ou collectivement d’un droit de sortie conformément aux modalités suivantes :

Can anyone help me with translating "actionnaire actuel de l'Associé 1? The current shareholders of a partner??? That just doesn't make sense!
