French term or phrase: exécuter d'office
I really can't come up with a natural-sounding English translation of the above term in the following phrase, though something tells me I'll be kicking myself shortly.

"Le Titulaire met en oeuvre tous les moyens pour assurer la conservation, la reprise et la poursuite des prestations à l'issue de la période d'ajournement ; il a droit à être indemnisé des frais que lui imposent ces obligations ainsi que du préjudice qu'il aura éventuellement subi du fait de l'ajournement. S'il ne prend pas les mesures nécessaires, l’Entreprise **les fait exécuter d'office** aux frais du Titulaire."

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Many TIA,

have them executed systematically/without consultation

Explanation:
I thought that "les" actually referred to the "obligations" not the "mesures necessaires" which are just a means to an end. which explains my leaning towards "executed"
Good luck

takes the necessary steps ex officio on behalf of-at the expense of ...

Explanation:
x officio 'from the office' By virtue of office or position; 'by right of office'. Often used when someone holds one position by virtue of holding another. A common misconception is that ex officio members of a committee or congress may not vote, but this is not guaranteed by that title.

Perhaps, "automatically" is more current these days.
