I am translating general conditions of sale and am struggling with 'la prise en charge' in the phrase below:
Ainsi, si XX n'accepte pas la modification ou l'annulation, outre la prise en charge de la réparation des préjudices subis par XX de ce fait, les arrhes et/ou acomptes versés le cas échéant par l’Acheteur seront conservés par XX.
My atempt so far is:
Therefore, if XX do not accept the modification or cancellation of the order, in addition to the...... of compensation for damages suffered by XX, the deposit and/or part payment paid will be retained by XX.
Could this be simply 'cost'?
