I understand it, but I'm not familiar with the correct terminology (particluarly the use of the verbs 'indemniser' and 'garantir' here). Would 'protect' work here, i.e. A protects B against all complaints, losses etc?
Context is rather a long sentence:
"[Company A] s’engage à indemniser et garantir [company B], ses cadres, ses directeurs et ses employés contre toute réclamation, pertes, honoraires d’avocats, dommages, coûts et dépenses de tiers ou de [A] et de ses employés à raison de décès ou de blessures, de dommages ou pertes de biens, ou de tout autre action en dommages et intérêts survenant à l’occasion de l’exécution du présent contrat et pouvant résulter d’un acte de négligence, d’une omission ou d’un acte délibéré de [A], de ses employés, de ses sous-traitants ou agents, de la présence de [A]ou de ses employés dans les locaux du [B]." |

Also, \"cover\" is another option istead of insure/ protect. |
