French term or phrase: auquel il est fait
Hello again,

I have already asked for help for this sentence which a proz memeber kindly answered, but I'm wondering how to translate the "auquel il est fait" part here:

Any disputes which may arise in relation to this sale, will be subjected to the appreciation of the bankruptcy court of X auquel il est fait election of exclusive jurisdiction.

Thank you for your help :)

neutral  Fr-EnD: No. Il est fait attribution means the parties agree that no other court will have jurisdiction, even if the law gives other courts jurisdiction.

on which the parties confer [exclusive jurisdiction]

Explanation:
And I absolutely did not need anything in addition to the original post. The word "élire" is a synonym of "choisir".

I mean to say that "attribution" is similar to "élection." It is the parties "qui attribuent" in this instance. Other courts, perhaps even in other countries, might otherwise have had concurrent jurisdiction, but the parties have eliminated those courts from the equation, and the only court that the parties elect as the ultimate arbiter is the bankruptcy court in question.
