French term or phrase: lien de solidarité
Again, I'm a bit stuck with the whole sentence : "Les frais judiciaires sont réputés entièrement compensés, avec renonciation des avocats respectifs – qui, à cette fin, signent le présent acte – au lien de solidarité visé à l’art. 68 L.P."
Does this mean solidarité as in joint and several liability? and what does LP stand for? could be an Italian law as the contract was originally written in Italian

Thanks for all the help on this one. I was stuck and while suspecting that it was an Italianism, it never occurred to me to look under Proz IT questions! And yes, I did use "joint & several" :)

-> Thanks for that clarification and improvement, Wordwatcher! (It looks like Anne may well have used "joint and several" in any case, as mentioned in her original question.)
