Taken from the Intellectual Property clause of a T&C of sale. It has come up before in the glossary, but not sufficiently to help with this incidence. In this case, DA is the seller of the Products.

My understanding is that DA will not make any IP claims relating to the Products, but it can't guarantee no third parties will; however i'm not sure that covers the full meaning.

Many thanks in advance.

The term is "garantie d'éviction" and the warranty refers to disturbance of quiet possession of the goods by a third party. However, in this case, it only refers to disturbance causes due to a fault of or attributable the seller itself and not attributable to others.
