French to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Taxation & Customs | | French term or phrase: prise en charge judiciaire et administrative | Example:
"L’amélioration du recouvrement des créances issue du contrôle fiscal est une orientation forte de la Direction eu égard aux difficultés rencontrées (taux de l’ordre de 45 % par rapport aux prises en charge administratives ou judiciaires)"
Comments:
I am in trouble with finding a proper equivalent to the French administrative term "prise en charge"..."dossiers pris en charges par l'administration" ...= "cases handled by the administration"...OK...but is "cases handled" an acceptable equivalent ? And what about the nominalization? "Judicial and administrative case handling" is awkward... |

| | English translation:cases in which administrative or legal action is taken | Explanation: I can't think of a shorter or more elegant way of saying this. They seem to be talking about the accounts that are turned over to their collections department for administrative or legal action. |

5 hrs confidence: court and administrative procedures
Explanation: IMO, that's the meaning here. But I'm not a native Francophone; what do you think?
If that sounds correct, the term "court and administrative procedures" [with quotes] seems to google well.
