French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Law: Taxation & Customs / Inheritance tax
French term or phrase: Reprises et récompenses
Hello,

I'm looking for the correct English terminology for this in the context of a "Déclaration de Succession" French tax form. Having gone through the civil status of the deceased and his heirs, I have the heading DETERMINATION DES REPRISES ET RECOMPENSES. Presumably, there aren't any "reprises" (which I imagine are the opposite of "récompenses") as they aren't mentioned again. However, under "récompenses due par la communauté" (and later referred to as "récompenses dues à la succession"), there are details of an amount of money received by one of the heirs for the sale of a house left to him by his mother (not the deceased - that's his father - are you following ?). This amount then reappears as a community liability, along with unpaid income tax, etc., and a succession asset.

So, my question is: How should I translate "Reprises et récompenses" in this context ?
