French term or phrase: aux lieu et place de
Does this simply mean 'instead of and in place of' in the legal clause below? And should the 'aux' be plural or is that a typo?

Yep. I had meant to put this under 'Easy', but forgot to change the checkbox. It was the plural of 'aux' that confused me, but as I suspected, it is correct as it refers to both 'lieu' and 'place' (as pointed out by Christopher) - but is nothing more than typical French tautology - I mean, what is the difference between the two - absolutely nothing!! :)
