French term or phrase: ordonner tous autres devoirs de droit
I wonder if anyone knows if there is a usual way of translating this phrase, which seems to be fairly common documents relating to hearings. I have some idea of what it means: something like 'take all (necessary/relevant) legal recourse/action', but wondered if there is a better way of saying it. Here's how it appears in this particular case:

Ordonner tous autres devoirs de droit,

Dire que l'expert pourra s'entourer dans l'accomplissement de sa mission d tous renseignements utiles et necessiares et meme entendre de tierces personnes;

Dire que l'expert sera dispense de la prestation de serment;

Thanks in anticipation for any helpful suggestions.

undertake (all) the duties ascribed to them by (the) law
Explanation:
This is another option. The terms in brackets also seem to be optional to me.

Actually "undertake" could also be "prescribe" but I still prefer the answer above.
