|French term or phrase: livre des procedures fiscales|
as in "en vertu des articles X et Y du livre..."
I know what it means, but have't found the proper wording in English - I thought something like tax codes, but then the French would have used "code fiscal".
Something like "Tax procedure manual"???

This is the guidebook that comes included in extract when you buy the form for income tax declaration. The tax code is the CGI (Code Générale des Impôts).

In this case, I would not refer to the tax code: As you said, that is a very speicfic document, to which the author would have referred if that is what
(s)he meant. I propose that "Taxation" might be a bit less awkward here thatn "Tax" in front of the word "Procedures."
