The sentence below appears in a partnership agreement between a pharmaceutical company and a veterinary clinic. The agreement concerns some of the clinic’s clients, specifically, hog producers.

“Seuls les producteurs naisseurs-finnisseurs autosuffisants qui rendent 100% de leur production au poids d’abattage pourront être retenus dans la première phase du project.”

I am having difficulty with “qui rendent 100% de leur production au poids d’abattage”. I would appreciate some input here. Thanks for your help.

Asker: Your interpretation makes good sense to me. It is the "poids d'" that seems curious. Why not just say "à l’abattage”?
