French term or phrase: l'embouche
Here's the sentence: 'Est présidente du groupe depuis son début il y a environ 4 ans. Fait de l’embouche et en a profité puisqu’a pu acheter d’autres moutons avec les bénéfices.'

I know it means 'fattening' but is this really the way to say this? Surely there must be a better word?

I have seen "finishing" used in native US docs, so I think it is the preferred US terminology, although Termium gives a couple other terms, including "grass-fattening."
