French to English translations [PRO] Livestock / Animal Husbandry / Tourist material
French term or phrase:Doubles poneys
Hello,
Any horse experts out there? This comes from tourist material for the Champagne region and here is talking about a riding school. I'm not sure if the category "double poney" exists in English, apparently they are horses such as Haflinger, Welsh cob and Fjord which I assume are somewhere between a pony and horse in height. Any help much appreciated.

LE DOUBLE PONEY N'EXISTE PAS VRAIMENT c'est surtout un terme pour qualifier les poneys de grandes tailles.
tu as le haflinger, le fjord, le welsh cob, le connemara, le fell, l'highland, le konik, le gotland.... enfin voila pour les poneys de grandes tailles, ensuite tu as des chevaux de petites tailles style camarguais, merens... http://fr.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=2008022010524...
