French term or phrase: coté et paraphé
In a legal text (articles of incorporation)- they mean the "ordre de movement" when there is "transmission d'actions":

L'ordre de mouvement est enregistré sur un registre coté et paraphé, tenu chronologiquement, dit "registre des mouvements".

numbered and signed/initialed
Explanation:
I think coté has to been seen as the past participle of the verb coter-means to give a pressmark to a book. I think this book is numbered and signed (or initialed)
