French term or phrase: locataire gérant
"XXX est locataire gérant de YYY", with XXX and YYY both being companies, apparently in the same group as one word is similar to both. I am unable to provide any more details.

Eurodicautom shows this as "lessee manager", but this does not seem right in English to me.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Explanation:
What Eurodicautom suggests is technically correct, although rather awkward-sounding, which is why I have suggested a slightly different phrasing. A locataire gérant is a person or entity who holds (usually) a fonds de commerce under a lease-management (location-gérance) arrangement. I.e. they rent the premises and they manage the business (pour leur propre compte).

You cannot use Lease-Management Company here as that is something else entirely (e.g. the company that actually owns the location-gérance).
