French term or phrase:pilotage financier
I know pilotage is in the Kudoz glossary a zillion times, but I can't seem to find the right word for this context (CV for a business consultant). Not "management", because he is not a financial manager/director, and not "guidance" because you don't really "guide" finances, I don't think.
Job title: Conseil corporate et de directions générales

I think that financial control system/financial system control is a good equivalent
This is a hard one to grade because all the suggestions were good! I personally like 'administration', but the client said he preferred 'control'. Hello LBMas. To answer your question, I am hesitant to put management because he does not manage the company's finances, the way a secretary manages travel plans. Not the same level of control or responsibility.
Thank you Bahram, that is very helpful. But in this case he is not a financial "leader"; that is, he was never the head of any financial department. I don't want to be misleading... (you see my dilemma!)

Explanation: He may not be a Manager or Director, but his function here seems like management. I've seen that on tons of CVs. A secretary "manages" or "handles" his/her boss's travel plans, for example. (See definition below.

Explanation: I haven't seen the text, for obvious reasons, but it seems to me that you may be able to avoid "piltoage" altogether. It could be just "finance" but that depend on how the rest of the text is worded.
