It's a bit long, but "organisational defining choices" doesn't sound right. I realise that "defining" is a little loose for "structurant", but it should fit in well if the rest of the context points in the right direction.

Asker: I think this covers the idea well. Inspired by this, I'm wondering now if I should go down the route of 'making key logistical decisions' as 'logistical' suggests an organisational context.

Asker: I'm just not quite sure I'm covering all the elements with this as I'm wondering if it's also hinting at decisions made at the outset, some kind of basic key foundational ones which have to be taken initially and from which other decisions follow?
