Pour les plus curieux des détails sur le circuit mythique par excellence où tous les pilotes ont rêvé de gagner car est le plus lent et le plus dur du tracé. Le moindre erreur dans les rues de la Principauté est fatale !

This is the beginning of a short text about the Grand prix in Monaco.
Before I go back to the client I would just like to confirm that there must be something missing - there seems to be a reference to a certain bend in the race?

I'm sure you're right that something is missing. Looks like you've been asked to improve on the existing translation in your reference - hard to do worse, though.

if you look at the site you found and compare EN/FR you'll see that the text about passes muster - here someone has tried to adapt and failed - the French is nonsense. I would just quote (adapting/correcting it) the English on that site

This seems to be one of those texts that goes round and round web sites - it is surprising that such a poor translation should appear on the "official" Monaco Grand Prix site.

then there is a whole chunk missing ! Or the last word is nonsense and should be plural (the slowest and toughest of all the racing circuits ?) Surely that is an odd thing to say about a race that they all so want to win?

I actually agree with the suggestion that has been provided. However, although this might simply be a typing error, please note that in the last sentence of your sample, you need to replace "le moindre erreur" with "la moindre erreur".

Well, that ref. you've found is such a poor translation, i certainly wouldn't give it a great deal of credence. But at the same time, it seems to confirm what you thought — there must be soemthing missing, since [something] is the slowest and hardest of the 'tracé' — I don't believe this would be referring to the race as a whole, especially since your ref. mentions specific sections of the course by name.
