French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Management / Payroll query procedure
French term or phrase: notifié
Can you notify a query? This is a payroll management queries user guide. Staff who send or respond to payroll queries can share them with other colleagues, and this act is "notification" (in French), which is not a problem to translate because you can receive notification of a query (for example). But here is my problem: "La demande notifié et transmise peut être traitée par X ..."
I don't think I can say "The notified and dispatched query ..." because in my opinion (and that of all my dictionaries) you can only notify a person (about something).
Of course I could say "reported" but this is the very last line of the document in which the word "notification/notifier/notifié(e)" has appeared a great many times, and I don't want to depart from the nomenclature.
By the way, "query" is the client's required translation of "demande".
Most of the googles on "notify a query" refer to "query subscriber", "query holder" etc., not to "query alone.

notified / notification

Explanation:
I don't see a problem with using notified or notification, especially if you have been using this term throught the document. However you will probably need to change the word order in English. Some suggestions:

The query as notified and circulated/relayed/forwarded...
The query which has been notified and forwarded...
When notification of the query is forwarded (received?)..

It is understood that the query has been notified to someone i.e. The query as notified (to others) and circulated/relayed/forwarded

Explanation:
"notifier" is often used in legal text in the same was as "signifier" i.e. to serve a document on someone. Whilst I don't think that would be appropriate here, it does seem to mean "sent".
My inclination is to say "sent and forwarded" but it would have been helpful to see more of the text.
