Déf. : Teinte passée sur un dessin sans effet d'ombre ou de dégradé, c'est-à-dire teinte dont la densité est régulière. "showing through"[?] Explanation: For aplat (also: à plat) in Termium I found "tint block" under printing processes. My guess is that the graphic is visible through the block of orange color. |

"solid orange" sounds okay (orange w/ no other colour) or Explanation: "flat orange" (as against 3-dimensional orange or volumetric orange).
