Explanation:
This is my own favoured translation, which appears to me more idiomatic and natural in EN.

Note that certain versions of the FR expression do indeed use "est dangereux...", but here it is simply "nuit".

It is important to be sensitive to the difference in meaning here of 'abus' vs. the faux ami in EN 'abuse'.
This standard health warning is clearly not talking about serious 'alcohol abuse', in the same league as we talk about 'drug abuse' etc. Here, it has a slightly weaker sense of 'misuse', or perhaps 'improper use', and I believe it is important not to create an unwanted and judgemental connotation in this instance.

Look at many other examples where 'abus' in FR is used with a meaning we wouldn't use 'abuse' for in EN, like: « Je sais que j'abuse... mais est-ce que je peux te taxer un clope ? » — 'abuser' in this context has something more of the sense of 'doing too much', which is what of course the source text is seeking to say: "Drinking too much is bad for your health"; suggesting that all the customers for an alcoholic beverage were on the verge of becoming alcoholics would hardly go down well in a marketing context, now would it?

Hence my suggested word order change, which softens the expression to what I believe if just the required degree.
