French term or phrase: parts de marché
Should this be market share or shareS in English? Both seem to be used.
Here's the context:
Concernant l’utilisation de la téléphonie mobile, la répartition entre les trois opérateurs est similaire aux ***parts de marché*** recensées par l’ZZZZZZZ fin août 2005.
Thanks for the help!

agree  Tony M: It's clear that if we are talking about 3 operators, we must be talking about 3 market shares in the plural
1 hr
-> Thank you, Tony. That's what the sentence is about IMO (the "répartition entre les trois opérateurs" is said to correspond to ...), so this is what requires the plural.

agree  xxxBourth: Yep, like having 5 fish and 3 fishes in a net.

-> Now that's a tough one - like having 5 milk for 2 bottles, or 500 net and room for improvement?
