French term or phrase: la coordination
"Envoi du rapport de la consultation publique à *la coordination*"

I think this means something like *the management* but 'm not sure.

Coordination often appears in conjunction with an subject (i.e. la coordination des activities, etc) but here it stands alone.

neutral  Cath St Clair: I tend to use "coordination committee" but I like this too - I've never thought of using it. I would choose this if it were a one-off event (in UK EN, at least). If it were a permanent body I'd be more inclined to go for sthg like "committee" or "team"

agree  Carol Gullidge: on the other hand, I have used this translation (or similar, eg, organizing committee - depending)

coordination committee

Explanation:
I often use "coordination committee", but as suggested by others, "the organizers" or "coordinators" work for me too - it's a matter of personal preference...

... and context. As I commented to "Hooksett" above, I would definitely opt for "organizers" if it's a one-off event.

If it's a long-term project I would use coordination committee or team.
