French term or phrase: palais du pouvoir
Hard to know where to put this question as it seems to be a political term but appears in a fashion-related text describing a company's spring/summer collection. The collection in question is said to bring the style of Grace Kelly
"from the Hollywood cinema screen *aux palais du pouvoir* de la couronne de Monaco".

I've found many references to the term 'palaces of power' but this sounds a little too literal to me, and I can't find anything to support the use of this term in the context of the Principality of Monaco.

Can anyone confirm whether this is indeed the correct term or, otherwise, suggest a suitable way of phrasing it?

Many TIA,

Vicky

Explanation:
Grace Kelly having been a Hollywood star prior to marrying the prince of Monaco was transported from the Holywood screen to the corridors of power.. makes sense historically.

Although I don't think this was the best answer for my particular context here (see my comment above) I think it would normally be a great translation of the term and worthy of a glossary entry. Thanks!

Notes to answerer
Asker: 'Corridors of power' does seem to me to be a much more 'natural-sounding' translation than 'Palaces of power'. Thanks all.
