In advertising and printing, a cartouche is a shape with a border round it, for example a label or logo. We had a similar question before, but I can't find it. I'm not sure what 'fronton' means - is it the storefront, or the shelf front?

Ah yes, good point: I'm now seeing some tacky themed display using pediments and pretend-scrolls to go on them with the prices... Flyhi, does your text tell you what the store is, so you could check it visually?

On utilise aussi le mot cartouche (masculin) comme en archit. pour les dessins techniques où le cartouche d'inscriptions est un cadre portant les références du dessin (Wiki). It seems an odd use of "cartouche", but as you say must be something showing the prices. Since they can be printed in different sizes instore, it sounds like they are paper-based. If you can't get more info from the client, you could try something general like "price displays"...
